This policy explains what data ArtemonTools (artemontools.com) processes and why. The scanner can be used without an account; an account is only needed to save settings across devices.

Data we store

Account: your email address and a salted hash of your password (the password itself is never stored). If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address from Google.
Your preferences: scanner settings, filter presets and favorite pairs linked to your account.
Security records: hashed session tokens, hashed email confirmation codes and password reset tokens, which expire automatically.
Technical logs: the web server records IP address, time and requested address for security and abuse prevention. Logs are rotated regularly.

Data we never ask for

We never ask for exchange login credentials, access to exchange accounts or payment card details. If anyone asks you for these on behalf of ArtemonTools, it is not us.

Cookies and local storage

at_session: keeps you signed in (HttpOnly, Secure).
at_pending: links an email confirmation code to your browser during sign up or password reset.
Browser local storage keeps your interface settings on your device.

We do not use advertising or third party tracking cookies.

How we use data

Only to provide the service: to sign you in, send confirmation and password reset emails, sync your settings and protect the site from abuse. We do not sell or share personal data. Emails are sent through Google Gmail; web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.

Your rights

You can change your password in your profile, and you can ask us to export or delete your account and all related data by writing to [email protected] from the email address of the account.
